Each year the Christ the King Diocesan Schools Foundation holds an annual gala to celebrate our donors and raise funds to support the Foundation’s mission of promoting and supporting Catholic education at CTK Diocesan Schools.
For the 2024-2025 school year the Christ the King Home & School Association and Christ the King Diocesan Schools Foundation joined together to bring school supporters a fabulous gala celebrating Catholic education while raising funds for Christ the King Diocesan Schools. Both of these school organizations work to support the Diocese of Lubbock’s only Catholic school and provide financial support for programs and needs. As our community continues to grow, your commitment to our mission of educating the next generation is even more important.
The 2025 Gala “Dream Big” was held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Sheehan Hall at the Diocese of Lubbock. This year’s event included the Home & School Association’s annual Big Raffle drawing, a great dinner, a casino, a live auction, a silent auction, music and more!
Where Do Gala Proceeds Go?
The Foundation donates a portion of its income back to the school community on an annual basis as does the Home & School Association. These donations have assisted the school in many areas including financial aid for qualifying families, school renovations, improved technology, advertising campaigns, updating the front entryway to our private school, and financial aid funding via student scholarships.
