Scholarship Opportunities

Lubbock Private School

For 40 years, many donors have generously contributed to the CTK Diocesan Schools Foundation’s various named endowment funds for the benefit of students at our Catholic school. During the past several years, the endowed scholarship program has grown, and it now includes twenty-eight (28) named endowment funds that provide scholarships ranging from $250 to full tuition for one (1) school year. Some scholarships are awarded based on financial need though others are awarded based on requirements such as grade level, academic successes, student involvement, etc. Christ the King Diocesan Schools Foundation scholarships are available to returning students who are already pre-enrolled for Kindergarten – 12th grades at Christ the King Schools for the upcoming school year. Other scholarship opportunities for high school students are available from the St. Cecilia Foundation, and CTK Cathedral’s Women’s Organization and Knights of Columbus Council #3008 provide annual scholarships for graduating seniors for their first year of college studies. All funds are paid directly to the schools on behalf of the recipient for tuition assistance.

Foundation Application

Applications for the 2026-2027 Christ the King Diocesan Schools Foundation endowed scholarships are available for those who are currently enrolled at CTKDS for the 2025-2026 school year and who will be entering Kindergarten through High School for the 2026-2027 school year. An application should be filled out for each student to be considered for scholarship awards. Based on application responses, the Foundation Scholarship Committee will determine for which scholarships an applicant is eligible. Complete scholarship applications and required documents should be brought or mailed to the school for consideration. All mailed applications should be postmarked no later than the published deadline to be considered. Scholarship recipients will be announced at the end of year awards ceremonies.

St. Cecilia Foundation Scholarship

The Saint Cecilia Foundation for Catholic Education provides scholarships for students attending CTK Diocesan High School each school year. Applicants must be a registered member of a Catholic parish in the Diocese of Lubbock. CTKC Women’s Organization Scholarships

The Christ the King Cathedral Women’s Organization accepts scholarship applications each spring from graduating senior girls who are CTKC parishioners and/or Christ the King Diocesan High School students. Applicants must be a registered member of Christ the King Cathedral parish and/or students at CTK Diocesan High School. 2026 scholarship applications are due by Friday, 5/1/26.
