As we approach GivingTuesday 2026 as well as 70 years of Catholic education at CTKDS, we remain committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and academically strong environment where students grow in faith, knowledge, and service. We hope that you will choose CTK Diocesan Schools for your #iGiveCatholic gifts during the Advanced Giving period from November 16-20 or on GivingTuesday on December 1!
This year’s donations for CTKDS will be directed to the Annual Appeal fund and earmarked for several prioritized projects for the school. Thanks to a recent generous grant supporting a portion of our playground fencing project and a significant lead gift toward the playground renewal, we already have a strong start towards funding! With your help, we can build on these generous gifts to create lasting improvements that will benefit CTK students for generations to come with these projects. Continue reading for more details on this year’s goals for the annual appeal.
Playground Renewal
Our playground gives our youngest students opportunities for play, friendships, and physical activity. Planned improvements include new ground covering and updated equipment to create a safer, more inviting space. The renewed playground will be named in honor of CTK 3rd grade teacher Debbie Jackson, who is celebrating an extraordinary 50 years of service to Christ the King Schools. This lasting tribute will honor her remarkable dedication and the generations of students and families whose lives she has touched.
Facilities & Campus Enhancements
Campus safety remains a priority. Planned improvements include security fencing around the playground and east side of campus, with future plans for additional outdoor security cameras and other safety enhancements. New entrance signage will create a welcoming, unified campus presence, while sharing announcements, events, and student achievements with our community. Following the LED lighting upgrades in the gym and main hallways, future improvements will bring energy-efficient lighting into our classrooms.
Academic Programs
New curriculum and instructional resources will provide teachers and students with high-quality materials that strengthen learning from the foundational years through upper grades.
Athletics & Extracurricular Activities
Support for athletics, fine arts, clubs, and other activities helps students discover their talents, build confidence, develop leadership and teamwork, and strengthen connections within the CTK community. Gifts may support equipment, program resources, transportation, and other needs that help students grow in mind, body, and spirit while pursuing their God-given gifts.
Every Gift Makes Every Day Count
As we begin to celebrate 70 years of Catholic education at the same time as we reach GivingTuesday on our calendars, we invite you to help build the next chapter of Christ the King Schools. Your gift will make an immediate impact—strengthening our classrooms, enhancing campus safety, enriching student opportunities, and preparing CTK for the generations who will follow.
Please prayerfully consider making a gift during GivingTuesday. Advanced giving is from Monday, 11/16 to Monday, 11/30 before GivingTuesday on Tuesday, 12/1. Every gift, at every level, is an investment in our students and the mission entrusted to us. Together, we can honor 70 years of faith and tradition, strengthen CTK today, and ensure that Christ the King Schools continues Making Every Day Count for generations to come.
